Schuss requires a 68020,68030 or 68040 processor (e.g. LC, LCII, Mac II family, SE30, Clasic II, P.B. 140, P.B 145, P.B 170, Quadra, Preforma family).

Schuss is an arcade snow skiing game. When the program starts the first time it will create a file to save courses and scores. It will hold 16 courses. The program then asks for a course name. Once you have entered the name, the course is randomly made up (keep names small like "Vail" or "Aspen"). You then enter your name in the next dialog. Then start skiing, there will be four beep sounds signaling the start of the race. Just after the fouth one starts click the mouse button down and back up quickly you will start down the hill, move the mouse left or right to change the position of the skier. Point straight down the hill to go faster and sideways to slow down and turn. If you don't make it through a gate the foul sound will go off, you can then practice the rest of the run or click the mouse to start over again. You have to make it all the way down without a foul to get your name and time on the score board. If you click to start the run to early (before the fouth beep) you will also foul out. To change the players name or to quit hit a key on the keyboard when a run is stopped. For a new coarse restart the game the first coarse will have been saved. If you enter another coarse name it creates another random coarse. After you have more then one coarse saved you can toggle between them with the "previous" and "next" buttons. If the "long coarse" or "pro" buttons are changed but not the name, it will save the coarse as a new one. To open a new coarse file change the name of the "Schuss Coarses" file and restart Schuss. To run one of the old coarse files double click on that file. You may need to speed the mouse up in the control panel for better control. Please let me know if anything dosn't work.
